#1 What’s On This Week – CBD

  • Storytime by State Library Victoria (Wednesdays) – Share the delight of stories, songs, and picture books with your preschooler on Wednesdays at the Library.
  • Exhibition: RAIN (Thurs to Sunday) Find your reflection in puddles, arrange fuzzy felt pieces and dive into a moment of rest as you are immersed in the generosity of rain.
  • Play Group & Soft Play (Fridays) – Play with your child and make community connections in a safe and fun indoor environment.

#2 What’s On This Week – North

  • Tiny Tots, Kew (Mondays) – Providing a fun space for your child to socialise and interact with kids their age, and to help develop early literacy and communication skills.
  • Dino Days​ (Wednesdays) – From dino discos and dress-ups to story times and sensory soft play, it’s a dinosaur day out at Melbourne Museum!
  • PlayGym (Fridays) – This parent-assisted program is designed to provide new experiences for you and your child while enhancing your young one’s gross and fine motor skills.

#3 What’s On This Week – South

  • Songbirds (Mondays) – Songs, rhymes and stories to engage your budding bookworm’s mind and introduce them to the fun and rhythm of language at Southbank Library at Boyd.
  • Tune in Time Out Music Playgroup (Tuesdays) – A pre-school music group plus time for play and parents to relax. The group runs weekly on Tuesday Mornings from 10:00 – 11:30am during school terms.
  • Monster Party takes over LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre this Halloween (throughout October) – Dress up for a Monster Party! Create LEGO® monsters to add to the MINILAND monster takeover and discover a pumpkin patch built entirely of LEGO.

  • BUSY BODIES Malvern Central (Mondays) – Experience FREE activity sessions for pre-school children every Monday during the school term. Play, learn, cook, and have fun with engaging activities tailored by experts to captivate little imaginations.
  • Kidsworks at Brickworks (Wednesdays) – Exciting and educational workshops designed exclusively for pre-schoolers! Held every Wednesday in the cosy community room “The Hollow”, these sessions provide the perfect blend of creativity and learning.

  • Tiny Tutus Preschool Ballet (Fridays) – A premier early childhood dance program, focusing on teaching young dancers the fundamentals of ballet with a fun twist.
